In Strict Confidence nace entre 1989/1990 por Jörg Schelte, Dennis Ostermann y Stefan Vesper
Su sonido es muy experimental hasta que en 1997 con su primer disco establecen su caracteristica combinacion entre darkwave aderezado por toques rock con mezclas electronicas, todo esto acompañado de un manto de oscuridad, este primer disco se agota en la primera semana de haber salido, aunque la formacion de la banda ha cambiado algunas veces nos siguien deleitando con ese especial sonido que solo ellos saben lograr.
